Michigan app and website technology expert Lisa N. Powers, CAE, CTA has joined the staff at Motown Digital as Director of Creative Services. In her new role Powers will be working both on business development and company vision.
This move comes as Motown launches GLM Media, a new initiative created to meet the needs of website customers of Gaslight Media, a Petoskey Michigan based website application provider who needed to find a new home. Gaslight Media founder Chuck Scott passed away this fall resulting in the closing of the popular website development firm.
“We are thrilled to have Lisa join our team”, said Motown Digital President and C.E.O. Dave Scott. “Her vast experience in app and website development and her years of working for and with Michigan’s top associations put her at top of our list as we looked for new leadership.”
Lisa comes to GLM Media and Motown Digital from i2Integration, a leading custom technology development firm in mid-Michigan, where she served as their Director of Business Development for three years. Prior to i2, Lisa spent over eight years in the association industry, first with the Michigan Restaurant & Lodging Association as their Director of Development, and then with the Michigan Association of School Boards as their Manager of Superintendent and Business Services. She thoroughly enjoys supporting community endeavors through her service as the current President of the Kiwanis Club of Grand Ledge Area as well as with the Capital Area I.T. Council.
Motown Digital is one of Michigan’s leading providers of virtual and live conference services, live streaming technology, and video content creation. GLM Media provides advance app and website programming and development to hundreds of Convention and Visitors Bureaus, Associations, and Michigan’s top tourist destinations.
